Carlo Ancelotti’s Home Raided By Masked Burglars
A safe has been stolen from the home of Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti during a burglary on Friday night.
According to the Liverpool Echo, police were called to the house in Blundellsands, shortly after 6.30pm.
The burglars, described as wearing black waterproof clothing and black balaclavas ran from the house after being disturbed by the daughter of the Italian coach.
However, no-one was hurt during the break-in as confirmed by the Echo.
The Toffees boss is not believed to have been at the scene at the time of the break-in.
In a statement a spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed: “We are appealing for information after a safe was stolen in a burglary in Crosby on Friday evening (12 February).
“The property will be forensically examined and CCTV opportunities are being explored.”
