Names of Premier League goalkeepers Lionel Messi sent beer to while celebrating his milestone (644th) Goals

 

The Barcelona icon broke Pele's long-standing record when he netted the 644th goal of his Nou Camp career.

Lionel Messi has provided his own small dose of festive cheer as he pays 'tribute' to the growing list of goalkeepers he has made suffer over the last 15 years.

The Argentinian scored his 644th of his Barca career, netting in the win over Real Valladolid and in doing so, eclipsed Pele's goalscoring record.

Messi's 10th goal of the season moved him ahead of Pele's 643 goals at Santos during his legendary career in Brazil.

The Brazilian giants suggest the forward's tally actually stood at more than a thousand, but officially, Messi is now the record holder.

And after bringing up the monumental tally, Messi sent a personalised bottle of beer to the 160 keepers he has scored past since 2005.

Each keeper has been sent bottles, with the amounts depending on how many goals they shipped to the legendary Barca magician.
