Photos Of Van Dijk’s Rehabilitation At Liverpool’s New Training Centre Surface
Pictures of Virgil van Dijk in training just five weeks after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury has been seen.
The 29-year-old has been out of action since picking up an anterior cruciate ligament injury during the Merseyside derby on October 17.
Van Dijk underwent a successful operation at the end of October but it is feared he could miss the rest of the season.
The Liverpool defender though has delighted fans on Friday, as he posted pics of him at the club’s AXA Training Centre in Kirby on his social media platforms.
‘Working harder than ever’ was the centre-back’s message, alongside four images of him using the facilities at the club’s new training complex in Kirkby.
Van Dijk is likely to still be some way off returning to on-pitch training, but the images of his rehabilitation will be a boost to the Reds who have suffered a number of injuries this season, particularly in defence.
