Olivier Giroud becomes first Chelsea player to score 4 goals in Champions League game

Olivier Giroud scored 4 goals in Chelsea Cham[pions League win against Spanish side Sevilla on Wednesday making him the only Chelsea player to have achieved that.

Having seen his chances limited this season Giroud was handed a rear start against Sevilla and he grabbed it with both hands by scoring with both foot, converting a penalty before wrapping it up with a header.

The only Chelsea player to have scored a Champions League hat-trick in the competition was Drogba against  Bulgarian side Levski in 2006 which Chelsea won 3-1.

With his performance, Lampard will have a lot to think about when making his team selection for the next game
