Man Utd Boss Solskjaer Reacts To Edinson Cavani And Yerry Mina Clash
Manchester United hero Edinson Cavani clashed with Everton defender Yerry Mina before going on to score as the Red Devils reached the Carabao Cup semi-finals.
United beat Everton 2-0 thanks to late goals from Cavani and substitute Anthony Martial.
They will now face Manchester City in the semi-finals as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to finally reach a final after three last-four defeats last season.
Cavani scored the crucial opener having been involved in a clash with Mina earlier in the second half.
The Everton defender fell to the ground with replays appearing to show the United star grab the collar of his shirt and push him down.
Though with both players from South America, Solskjaer believes there was little in the incident, despite Everton fans calling for a red card.
Solskjaer said: “Nothing in it, two South Americans that have had a few battles before.
“They met in Copa America qualifiers so no this was a proper game of football. With fans, tackles, yellow cards and chances at both ends, I enjoyed it.

“Cavani should’ve scored three in the first half but he is a top striker, movement, quality and the goal was excellent.”
