Liverpool To Sign Kingsley Coman From Bayern Munich To Replace Salah
Speculation surrounding Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool has ramped up in recent weeks after his interview with a Spanish newspaper fuelled rumours of a switch to either Barcelona or Real Madrid.
But Liverpool legend Dietmar Hamann feels the Reds should already be looking at Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman to fill the potential void.
“For me, the best winger out there at the moment is Kingsley Coman,” the former Liverpool and Bayern midfielder told Stadium Astro.
“He had injury problems when he came to Munich but he got fit and scored the winner in the Champions League final.
“He’s two-footed, he’s quick, he’s very clever, great decision making and his finishing has improved a lot.
“Coman is the player. Bayern Munich aren’t interested in losing him, he’s happy.”
Hamann added: “If Salah were to move, if he wants to go, which might be quite likely, that will have a knock-on effect.
“Liverpool will have to buy somebody. Whoever they sign, that team will need to buy a replacement. Things happen quickly.”
Salah’s current deal at Liverpool expires in 2023, which would make a cut-price transfer in 2022 the most plausible time for his earliest exit.
y that time Coman (now 24) will be entering his prime years.
