Liverpool To Offer Salah £200k-A-Week Bumper New Contract To Keep Him At Anfield

Liverpool Offer Salah Bumper New Contract

Liverpool are set to offer Mohamed Salah a bumper new contract after he refused to rule out a transfer to Barcelona or Real Madrid in an interview with Spanish media at the weekend.

The Egypt international has helped fire the club to Champions League and Premier League glory since leaving Roma in 2017, scoring 110 goals in 173 appearances.

Although Jurgen Klopp was quick to dismiss reports that his star forward could leave the club in the summer, he might not be so confident despite Salah’s contract running until 2023.

However, the club might have a secret plan in their quest to keep their successful team together, and it could involve a hefty pay rise in the near future.

According to Goal, Liverpool are certain to offer Salah an improvement on his £200k-a-week contract, which he might be forced to consider as he approaches his 29th birthday.
