Liverpool Boss Klopp Confirms Latest Injury Updates For Midtjylland Clash
Liverpool travel to Denmark with top spot already secured in Group D, with one game to spare.
However, Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that none of the club’s injured players will be ready in time to face FC Midtjylland.
When asked if there were any fresh team news, Klopp said: “No, which is good news! Nobody suffered any problems from the last game.
“On the other side, nobody is close enough to return to the squad.”
It means Caoimhin Kelleher looks set to keep his place between the sticks for the Reds.
Alisson, who is suffering from a hamstring injury, could return this weekend though at Craven Cottage, after responding well to treatment.
Meanwhile, Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez remain long-term absentees while Xherdan Shaqiri, James Milner and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are beginning to step up their recovery.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita could return to the starting line-up tomorrow, after making their return against Wolves.
