Juventus Star Cristiano Ronaldo Hails Messi’s Barcelona After 3-0 Win
Cristiano Ronaldo was the star of the show as Juventus beat Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Tuesday night as he scored two penalties in the 3-0 win.
The Portuguese has now scored 14 goals at the Barcelona stadium – more than he has at any other away stadium.
Ronaldo’s two penalties, which put him past the 750 goal mark for his career.
The match was perhaps the final time Ronaldo and long-term rival Messi will meet on the same pitch, with both in the twilight of their careers.
And after the win on Tuesday night, the five time Ballon d’Or winner took to Instagram to hail Ronald Koeman’s Barcelona as one of the toughest teams he faced through his career.
He wrote: “Always great to return to Spain and to Catalunya, always hard to play in Camp Nou against one of the best teams I ever faced.
“Today we were a team of Champions! A true, strong and united family!
