Injury Update Emerges On Bukayo Saka After Brighton Substitution
Arsenal won Brighton 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Alexandre Lacazette at the Amex Stadium to make it two wins out of two.
And Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Bukayo Saka after the youngster was forced off through injury against Brighton.
Saka was the man of the match against the Seagulls on Tuesday night.
However, there is some concern over the 19-year-old.
Arteta has quelled any fears over a long-term injury, though.
”He took a strong challenge, but hopefully he will be fine,” he said.
But Arteta has been keen to keep the England international’s feet on the ground.
“I would like everybody to be cautious, let him be and let him develop,” he added.
Saka was a constant thorn in Brighton’s side on Tuesday night, eventually setting up Lacazette for the winner.
It follows from his performance against Chelsea, where he scored a brilliant effort – if he meant it.
That saw Arsenal go 3-0 up against their London rivals at the time and set them up for their first Premier League victory since November 1.
