Giroud breaks 19-year-old Premier League record with goal against Leeds
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard re-payed Olivier Giroud hard work by giving him a chance to lead the blues attack as Chelsea face Leeds United in the Premier League.
The French striker did not disappoint as he found the back of the net to score the blues equalizer on the back of his 4 goals against Spanish side Sevilla in the Champions League.
Upon scoring against Leeds, Giroud becomes the first player to score in 6 consecutive PL starts since Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
Despite falling down the pecking order Olivier Giroud has shown Lampard that he still got what it takes to lead the blues attack despite investing heavily in the transfer window.
Does Giroud deserve more starts?
