Coutinho's injury diagnosis reports about a 4-month layoff
The Brazilian has suffered an alleged meniscus rupture which could see him out for 2-4 months.
Philippe Coutinho's knee issue could be worse than expected, according to Diario AS.
If the initial diagnosis is correct, the Brazilian has suffered a meniscus rupture in his left knee.
If it's a partial rupture, he won't have to undergo surgery and could return in 2 months.
However, if it's a total rupture, Coutinho will have to have surgery and miss 4 months - similar to Ansu Fati's case earlier this season.
Coutinho was unable to finish the 1-1 Eibar draw and Ronald Koeman confirmed the midfielder has knee discomfort.
