Burnley takeover to be completed in next 48 hours
Burnley is set to be sold in the next 48 hours.
The Mirror says Burnley's takeover by American group ALK Capital is set to be completed before the transfer window opens to give Sean Dyche a welcome boost next month.
ALK has agreed in principle to buy Burnley from Clarets chairman and majority shareholder Mike Garlick and hope to announce the deal in the coming days.
ALK managing director and former Wall Street financier Alan Pace is understood to have passed the Premier League's owners and directors' test.
Pace, who is a former president of MLS side Real Salt Lake, is ambitious for Burnley and will immediately make funds available for Dyche in the January transfer window.
