Barcelona duo Messi and Griezmann exchange most passes in one match since Frenchman's arrival
During the match against Osasuna, Leo Messi and Antoine Griezmann interchanged 26 passes, Opta report.
This is actually the best record since Griezmann's move to Barcelona.
One of the reasons why Messi and Antoine did so well might be their positioning: Leo started on the right while the Frenchman played as an attacking midfielder.
This allowed them to move the ball around instead of keeping it in the same zone.
Both players looked great against Osasuna, as Griezmann registered a goal and an assist while Messi found the net once but was heavily involved in Barca's first two goals.
