Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane both had to be substituted due to injury problems in their respective UEFA Nations League games on Tuesday evening.
The Real Madrid captain seemingly suffered a hamstring injury and limped off with Spain leading 3-0 against Germany before half-time.
Varane was also taken off for Kurt Zouma during the half-time break of France's game against Sweden because of an undisclosed injury.
However, there is still no official confirmation on the extent of their injuries right now.
Both of Zinedine Zidane’s regular defenders are now a doubt for the Villarreal game on Saturday and Madrid fans will pray their injuries are nothing serious.
