Oscar Mingueza becomes first player to go from U8 to senior team at Barcelona

 

Oscar Mingueza started alongside Clement Lenglet in the Champions League match against Dynamo Kyiv.

The 21-year-old has become one of the few players to pass through all the age groups at Barcelona and get to the first team.

Carles Alena, Sergi Samper and Marti Riverola have achieved the same as they started at the U9 team and ended up playing for the senior side.

Unlike them, however, Mingueza started at the U8 team (which didn't exist when those three arrived), making his achievement more special.
