Thiago Alcantara, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin De Bruyne, Sadio Mane, Robert Lewandowski, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk will rival the Barcelona captain for the prize.
The German's fellow nominees are Alisson Becker, Thibaut Courtois, Keylor Navas, Manuel Neuer and Jan Oblak.
The winners in each category will be announced at The Best FIFA Football Award ceremony on December 17.
