Jordan Henderson returns to Liverpool after being released from the England duty, the club's official website confirms.
The captain was subbed off in the last game for the Three Lions due to feeling 'a bit of tightness', as per manager Gareth Southgate.
As a result, the 30-year-old will miss the Nations League game against Iceland and undergo further checks with the club.
Earlier, it was reported that Liverpool are cautiously optimistic about Henderson's fitness for Sunday's Premier League clash with Leicester.
