Aubameyang ends goal drought as he scored against Man United

As the Gunners clinched their first league win at Old Trafford since 2006 as talisman Aubameyang broke his 5 games goal drought.

The Arsenal striker has been without a league goal since the opening day of the season. Going 5 games without finding the back of the net and it looked like the run could have extended to 6 today after several near misses.

Fortunately, Auba had other ideas. After Bellerin was fouled inside the box he stepped up and coolly sent De Gea the wrong way. He needed that goal, even from the spot - we hope it sparks the striker into life.

Aubameyang's scoring prowess is not up for debate as he has shown that in the Bundesliga and the premier league notably the 2019/20 season when he ended the season sharing the Premier League Golden Boot title with Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané, on 22 goals.
