Rafinha set to remain at Barcelona until January to choose next destination

Barca's valuation may be unrealistic given Rafinha's contract situation.

Rafinha doesn't rule out leaving now but he is likely to wait until January before he picks his new club, Diario Sport report.

The 27-year-old's situation is complicated as Barcelona want to get €16m from his sale but no club is ready to pay that sum.

Moreover, none of the offers that have arrived have convinced Rafinha either.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian's contract expires in June 2021, meaning that he can sign a pre-agreement with a new club in January and leave for next summer.

Ronald Koeman has publicly said that Rafa isn't going to get much playing time this season, recommending he leaves the club.

Most recently, he's been linked with Manchester City as Barca reportedly consider offering him in a swap deal for Eric Garcia.
