Manchester United have opened talks with Barcelona over the transfer of Ousmane Dembele, top source Fabrizio Romano reports.

The Red Devils are offering a loan as their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho has stalled.

United have already contacted Dembouz's agent as they're working hard to convince the player who'd rejected a loan move to Liverpool back in June.

Ousmane's potential exit would facilitate Memphis Depay's arrival at Camp Nou.

Earlier, Romano reported that Dembele doesn't plan to renew his contract at Barca, with his current deal expiring in 2022.

Meanwhile, Ronald Koeman has told the media that he counts on the Frenchman but doesn't exclude his departure.
