'Leo Messi is the best player I've seen live': Celta coach Oscar Garcia speak ahead of Barca clash

The Celta boss praises Barca's squad, singling out their captain. Leo has managed 11 goals in 16 league games against the Vigo-based side.

"Leo Messi is the best player that I have seen live," Celta coach Oscar Garcia told Diario Sport in the pre-match presser ahead of the Barcelona game tonight.

He added: "I always hope our rivals will give their maximum against us. We play against a very difficult opponent who is going to fight for all the titles. Their whole squad is very good."

Barcelona will be hoping to break the 5-year curse of the Celta home ground as they haven't won there since April 2015.

Nevertheless, Messi has always been prolific against the Vigo-based side, managing 11 goals in 16 La Liga games against them.
