Lampard frustrated by yet another VAR wack decision

Chelsea coach Frank Lampard, who couldn’t hide his frustration after the 0-0 draw at Old Trafford, spoke on the occasion in which an obvious penalty was completely ignored by the referee and VAR as well.

Harry Maguire visible wrestled Azplicueta down in United penalty box locking his hands across the Chelsea defenders neck but the incident was immediately waved aside.

“It was a clear penalty. Clear penalty.

“I didn’t see it from where I was standing at the time and I know it’s a hard call for the referee on the pitch but that’s why we brought VAR into the game. VAR was very quick to dismiss it in my opinion. It should take time, the referee should watch the monitor. If he watches the monitor he has to give a penalty. It’s very confusing in my opinion.”

Lampard then pointed out on how VAR checked the incident concerning Rashford over and over again when the England striker was brushed in the Chelsea penalty area after he had completed his pass
