Former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires tips Mbappe to sign for Real Madrid

The former Arsenal midfielder says that as a Frenchman he wants Mbappe to stay in his home country.

But Pires believes that to grow into a world-class player, he must join Los Blancos.

When asked about whether he sees Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid next summer, former Arsenal midfielder Robert Pires told AS: “Of course. I’m French, I like Paris Saint-Germain and I’d like him to stay in Ligue 1.

“But if he wants to keep growing as a player, he should sign for Real Madrid.”

Not just Pires, but recently Mbappe’s national teammate Adil Rami also said he believes the PSG man will join Madrid next season. Los Blancos are ready to ‘bet everything’ on signing the young sensation and considering that Florentino Perez reportedly has already funds reserved for his transfer – everything points towards the Frenchman donning the Whites’ jersey next season.
