Fabinho Injury Update Has Been Revealed With Timeframe Set

Fabinho Injury Update With Timeframe

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has issued good news on the fitness of Fabinho, whose injury is not as bad as first feared.

Fabinho limped off in midweek in the 2-0 Champions League win over FC Midtjylland at Anfield clutching his hamstring.

Scans have revealed that the problem is not as serious as anticipated but it will keep the Brazilian out of Saturday’s clash with West Ham.

The Liverpool defensive midfielder has been filling in at centre-back in the absence of Virgil van Dijk and has marshalled the Reds to two clean sheets in three successive wins.

Now youngster Rhys Williams could be thrown in at the deep end against the Hammers, who will be without danger man Michail Antonio.

Klopp’s dilemma is defence may only be a short-term issue though, now he has handed supporters an update on Fabinho’s fitness.
