Fabinho Injury: Scan Results, Potential Return Date Released
Liverpool star Fabinho was forced off against Midtjylland with a hamstring injury on Tuesday night.
And now the Brazilian soccer federation (CBF) have announced that the Reds midfielder has been ruled him out of competing in the next set of international fixtures next month.
Reports have since emerged that he could well be fit after the international break next month, but Liverpool are yet to confirm the results of his scan.
But the Brazilian national team have hinted at Fabinho’s potential return date after making a statement on Thursday.
They confirmed that Fabinho will not be fit for next month’s World Cup qualifiers.
In Fabinho’s place, Everton midfielder Allan has been called up for games against Venezuela and Uruguay.
The statement from Brazil appears to confirm that Fabinho will miss at least the next three Liverpool matches.
Jurgen Klopp recently took aim at Brazil head coach Tite for not selecting the midfielder on the international stage.
