Courtois reveals they lacked a bit of speed with the ball' in the Valladolid win

Thibaut isn't quite satisfied with how his team played.

However, he says that the tactical preparation is key – the team always need to be flexible.

"We lacked a bit of speed with the ball," Thibaut Courtois has said after the Valladolid clash.

"The formation? If we are flexible at a tactical level, we can surprise everyone," the Belgian added.

The Whites looked fine in terms of creating danger but most of their chances didn't pay off.

Besides, Thibaut Courtois was forced to parry a few dangerous shots because of Madrid's average play in defence.
