Barcelona pick date of goalkeeper Ter Stegen's comeback



Barcelona German goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has been sidelined for about 3 months due to a recurring knee injury which needed him to undergo surgery.

A patella tendon injury has plagued Ter Stegen all year, first having treatment on the issue in early January. After a brief respite, the German began feeling pain in his knee again and accepted that surgery was required, but he delayed the operation until the end of the season.

The German will be back between the sticks for the La Liga clash against Real Betis on November 7.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is expected to receive the medical green light next Wednesday as Barcelona face Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League, according to Diario AS.

Ter Stegen has missed 10 games through injury since August 2020.with second-choice goalkeeper covering up and so far has not done bad conceding just 6goals in 7 games with 3 clean sheets.
