Barcelona has made their second proposal for Eric Garcia, reliable Gerard Romero of RAC1 reports.
The Catalans are ready to offer €8m fixed plus €2m in variables plus Rafinha.
However, Manchester City doesn't want Rafinha, asking for €20m.
The Blaugrana are now planning to improve the add-ons to rise the final offer up to €12-15m.
Earlier, it was claimed that the Citizens demanded €30m for the 19-year-old centre-back.
If the sides fail to find an agreement over the transfer fee Eric will have to wait for another year to return to his boyhood club.
His contract expires in 2021 and the centre-back won't renew.
So far this season, Garcia has started in two of City's four official matches.
