2020/21 NPFL Season Approved To Use Five Substitutes
Nigeria Professional Football League clubs have been giving the nod to make five substitutions in the 2020-2021 season.
According to reports, League Management Company [LMC] gave the clubs green light for the five substitutions in a game owing to fears that players might sustain injuries due to involvement in several matches.
The date for the commencement of the 2020-2021 season is yet to be announced, but reports had it that the Nigeria Football Federation [NFF] and the LMC are looking at the possibility of November.

Recall that the 2019-2020 campaign ended abruptly in March due to the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.
