Real Madrid still wants Luka Jovic to join Serie A club on loan

Luka Jovic is likely to leave Real Madrid on a short-term deal before the European transfer window closes on October 5.

According to AS, a respected source, the Blancos prefer for the 22-year-old to move to Italy on loan and mature as a striker by playing first-team football.

AS Roma, AC Milan and Inter Milan are reportedly interested in the Serb's services for the 2020/21 campaign but no official bids have bid submitted yet.

Karim Benzema remains Zinedine Zidane's first-choice striker and the manager would rather have Borja Mayoral - and not Jovic - as the Frenchman's back-up.
