Real Madrid left-back Ferland Mendy happy there's no rivalry between him and Marcelo
Mendy is Zidane's new first-choice left-back.
The Frenchman is looking to learn from Marcelo.
Speaking to Telefoot, Ferland Mendy said: "I don't think I have taken Marcelo's position.
"We have a good relationship and he has given me good advice so far."
The Frenchman has played in both Real Madrid games so far this campaign while the Brazilian is yet to feature.
Last season, Marcelo played a total of 1,854 minutes in all competitions while Mendy got 2,403 minutes after his summer transfer from Lyon.
