Liverpool legend does not believe that the Blues' legendary transfer window will help them close the gap at the top of the table next season.
"The chasing pack have to bridge the gap on Liverpool and that’s why teams like Chelsea have been spending money in the transfer market to try and make that happen," Jamie Carragher told TEAMtalk.
"But Liverpool and Man City are a long way ahead of the rest and I don’t see that changing. There is too big a gap to bridge for Chelsea and United to gain 25, 30 points."
The Blues finished 33 points behind last season's champions Liverpool, but this legendary transfer window and 5 first team signings will surely change that.
