Vilanova addresses criticism, saying that Barca do have a project in place.
9,000 more signatures are need in order for the ongoing vote of no confidence to be succesful.
"Yes, there is a project [at Barcelona]. We are not afraid of a possible vote of no confidence," the club's institutional vice-president Pau Vilanova has told COPE.
As a reminder, a group of activists have started a vote of no confidence against Josep Maria Bartomeu on August 31.
On Tuesday, September 8, they announced they had gathered 7,500 out of the 16,500 required votes. They have until September 16 to finish the process.
This isn't the first vote of no confidence against the current president, as Bartomeu survived one back in 2017 when Agusti Benedito failed to collect the required number of votes.
