Ronald Koeman attended Barcelona B's training match earlier on Friday, the club have confirmed.
The Dutchman was joined by his assistants, Alfred Schreuder and Henrik Larsson.
His decision to keep an eye on the youngsters could serve as a huge boost for La Masia.
The homegrown players were often discarded in recent years with Ansu Fati, Riqui Puig and, possibly, Ronald Araujo the only exceptions.
Barca are even planning to offload some of the Barca B stars, including their captain Monchu.
Thankfully, some of the gems, including Ilaix Moriba and Konrad de la Fuente, have been training with the first-team squad for several days already.
