Ex Chelsea goalkeeper: Kepa needs to start enjoying football at Chelsea again

Former Chelsea goalkeeper Kelvin Hitchcock has urged Kepa to find a way of enjoying playing football for Chelsea again as his inconsistency in front of goal could cost him his futures the bridge and Chelsea may be forced to go in search of his replacement.

Chelsea signed Kepa Arizabalaga from Spanish club Athletic Bilbao in the year 2018 for a whooping £71 million ($89m) which has seen him become the world's most expensive goalkeeper in history.

Following his dip in form in-between the stick Kepa was dropped for 5 games by the team head coach and club legend Frank Lampard but was later reinstated for the last two games before football around the globe was eventually halted because of COVID 19 pandemic.

Hitchcock who spent 10 years in Chelsea, believes that his former employer's list of top-class keepers coupled with his heavy price tag will weigh heavily on the Spaniard shoulders.

Hitchcock believes that Chelsea finding it hard to replace the likes of Petr Cech, Thibaut Courtois, and Carlo Cudicini.
